Shiloh Defensive Arts Origins
The Shiloh Defensive Arts System, which means "to whom it belongs", was developed by Robert Blackstone in 1992. In this system bowing is not part of the daily practice in training. Bowing is only taught to those wanting to compete in open tournaments and then only as a rule of play and sign of respect to officials for competition.
Our classes begin in prayer and the pledge to the flags and then ends in prayer.
The curriculum consists of the full range of basic kicks, blocks, and stances. 1-man, 2- man, and 4-man forms (preset patterns) both traditional and musical. 1, 3, 5 step, and free sparring. Single and multiple attackers self-defense sets along with weapons and breaking skills.
